Public Service Commission Nominating Council

This committee is established by section 350.031, F.S.

The Public Service Commission Nominating Council was created by Section 350.031 of the Florida Statutes, for the purpose of screening and nominating applicants for appointment by the Governor to fill vacancies on the Florida Public Service Commission.

The Council consists of 12 members: six appointed by the President of the Senate and six appointed by the Speaker of the House. The Council usually meets twice a year.

Today, Friday, September 11, 2026, the Public Service Commission Nominating Council (PSCNC) met in Lakeland, Florida, and has selected the following six (6) nominees to be sent to the Governor for the two term vacancies of Commissioners Clark and Passidomo-Smith.
