651.117  Duties of the 1Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services.--Whenever an order of liquidation has been entered against a provider, the receiver shall notify the 1Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services by sending to the 1Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services by certified mail a copy of the order of liquidation. Upon receipt of any such order or when requested by the receiver as being in the best interest of the residents of a facility, in addition to any other duty of the 1Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services with respect to residents of a facility, the 1Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services shall evaluate the status of the residents of the facility to determine whether they are eligible for assistance or for programs administered by the 1Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services, shall develop a plan of relocation with respect to residents requesting assistance regarding relocation, and shall counsel the residents regarding such eligibility and such relocation.
