Project Description:
Expand capacity to provide additional required outpatient Mental Health Services to include psychiatric care, counseling services, and medication management to the indigent residents of Nassau County. Sutton Place Behavioral Health has experienced unprecedented growth numbers of clinets that require these services, but lacks adequate operating funds (staff, opeating expenses) to provide the same. Sutton Place has received no increase in funding from DCF for these services in the past three years, in fact, funding for adult mental health has decreased

Increased numbers of clients abole to receive required services, shorter waiting lists, decreased incideences of clientsk using local hospital emergency room services.
