| This program will promote the latest evidence-based treatment guidelines and prevention guidelines for cardiovascular diseases by physicians in order to help more women resuce their risk of heart disease and strokes. Cardiovascular disease is currently the number one killer of women in the United States. The funds will be distributed to Community Health Centers, Rural Clinics, or another federal section 330 program providing health care to the uninsured/underinsured for costs associated with participation. These funds will also cover the cost of distributing educational materials and programs throughout the state. | |||||||||
