The Savannas State Reserve basin is an outstanding Florida Waters. Since it does not drain quickly, the adjacent Indian River Estates subdivision floods and septic tanks systems back-up and pollute the resident's wells and the adjacent Outstanding Florida Waters. The Reserve provides ecotourism. |

Funded with County, SFWMD, FDEP, and IRLNEP engineering has been completed and permit applications have been submitted. Funds will be used to assist in the construction of the stormwater facility. |
