Project Description:
The Aids Insurance Continuance Program (AICP) continues to pay for health insurance coverage including copayments and deductibles for Florida residents that are diagnosed with Aids or HIV Symptoms and cannot afford their private health insurance premium.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
We anticipate thr AIDS Insurance Continuation Program will save the Stateof Florida $10.14 in health care costs for every dollar spent on the program. Between 1990 and 2000, the AIDS Insurance Continuation Program has saved the state over $140 million in health care costs.
