Utilizing a nationally recognized model MCM will conduct a large scale, community wide preK/Kindergarten orientation to better prepare parents and children for success in school. Ehe event will be festive as well as informational. It will involve appropriate community stakeholders, provide practical information about enterin school, engage families together in hads-on pre-K/Kindergarten-level activities and celebrate this improtant rite of passage. The orientation will be centrally located and serve traditionally disadvantaged communities within Miami-Dade County. Transportation will be provided. Orintations will have trlingual activities/materials. |
