Project Description:
The Florida Center for Teachers (FCT) addresses one of Florida's critical needs-retaining excellent experienced teachers. FCT provides outstanding teachers with an incentive to remain in the classroom through a unique program of professional development. The center offers professional renewal and intellectual stimulation through a 10 week seminar, 3-day technology focused humanities program and in district programs.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Retain 1,000 teachers per year in the classroom who motivate 100,000 students to succeed.
