Manatee County is the only county of its size in terms

of percentage of older persons that has no senior center.

To address this need, community leaders have planned a

regional senior center to offer a broad array of services

and activities with access to other community resources.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Measurable Outcome Anticipated:

 

 

 

 

 

20,500 seniors will utilize the services each year.

17,500 seniors will participate in the center's health

programs and activities per year.  90% of participating

seniors will rank their satisfaction with the center's

programs/services.
