Project Description:
Complete construction of facility for which the initial phase was funded during the 1999-2000 FY budget. Facility will provide health services to one of Florida's most rapidly growing areas.
Services Provided/Benefit to State:
Communicable disease, disease investigation and prevention, immunizations, family planning, public health services, WIC services, environmental health services. Will provide health and environmental services to Freeport and south Walton County in a more efficient, safer manner. Increased public space will contribute to reaching more Floridians and visitors with a wider variety of services. Increased workspace will allow resolution of confidentiality, disability access and substandard workspace issues.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Staff will be headquartered in the facility where there has only been piecemeal provision of services. All program activities/clients will be monitored and data provided the Client Information System/Health Management Component.
