| The CATE project is a model partnership between the health department and a community non-profit organization designed to assist low-income residents in obtaining adequate health assessments and screening. The project is part of the Community Health Protection Act, F.S. 381.1001 which was devised to assist DOH reach medically underserved populations that are overburdened by pollution and disease. The Acts other components reach into additional communities throughout the state and there is also a statewide advisory board. | |||||||||
