| The proposed pay plan guarantees an annual pay raise to troopers. This additional pay raise will only be granted to employees of the Florida Highway Patrol who are not on probation, not under investigation, and not on any type of performance improvement plan. This plan will not be retroactive once the employee gets off of probation, is cleared from an investigation, or shows improvement in performance. In the event that the legislature's annual pay raise for state employees is greater than any FHP pay raise within the proposed pay plan, then the legislature's pay raise would be in effect for that year. | |||||||||
