Project Description:
The majority of the City of South Miami was developed prior to the construction of Miami Dade County's water and sewer system. Consequently, many of the City's residential neighborhoods still rely upon wells to provide for drinking water need.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Potable drinking water and fire protection continue to be the City's most pressing needs. Our recent citywide study showed that we could bring our residential areas on-line with County water for approximately $200,000
