General Summary

State Representative Fentrice Driskell is now accepting applications in her Tampa, Florida office to assist with a variety of administrative and public relations matters requiring a thorough understanding of the policies, procedures, and operating practices of the Florida Legislature.

• Constituent Management  
• Day-to-day Operations: Monthly Bills, Office Files, Office Property, Office Supplies, Office Communications
• Prepare Monthly and Quarterly Reports
• Intradistrict Travel
• Municipal, County, and Regional Issues Related to the District
• Community and Public Outreach

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

1. Knowledge and application of House Rules, Protocol, House-specific Applications, House Administrative Policies and the Legislature’s Joint Policies and Procedures.
2. Constituent Management
3. Day-to-day Operations: Monthly Bills, Office Files, Office Property, Office Supplies, Office Communications
4. Prepare Monthly and Quarterly Reports
5. Manage Office Expense Accounts and Travel System
6. Required Legislative Filings
7. Municipal, County, and Regional Issues Related to the District
8. Community and Public Outreach
9. Mandatory Trainings as Assigned

Salary

Annual salary: $45,444
Excellent employee benefits.

This position is not eligible for remote work.
