Project Description:
Construct a new senior citizens center which will offer programs to seniors that will enhance their lives. This center will save the State of Florida many dollars by keeping elder dependence at bay and increase opportunities for self-sufficiency and personal independence of Florida's elders. Plan, advocate, coordinate and administer programs that help elders attain needed services and long-term care.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Assist senior adults with the transition from life before retirement to active life after retirement. The payoff will be a more independent senior adult population who will place less strain on the long-term care resources of the State of Florida
