Project Description:
The Family Visitation Center facility, "Kids Bridge," is the project of the St. Augustine Junior Service League, a group of dedicated volunteers who seek to establish a Visitation Center in St. Augustine, where children and their separated have nowhere to go for court-ordered, supervised visitations. This project will provide a safe, home-like environment in which children in foster care can visit with their biological families in a healthy, controlled setting. This project will help children and their parents to rebuild relationships and trust, and hopefully lead to reunification.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
The number of reunited families in St. Johns County should increase as a result of this worthy project.
