The Gadsden County Agricultural/Multi-purpose Center project involves the following activities: 1. Upgrade facility accessibility to offices, arena and toilet rooms. 2. Reconfigure, construct and upgrade wiring, telecommunications, lighting, plumbing and interior finishes in office spaces and arena. 3. Upgrade and install heating/ventilating/air-conditioning systems throughout facility. 4. Upgrade seating, lighting, sound system, insulation and interior finishes in the existing arena. 5. Replace existing windows. 6. Refinish/replace existing roofing. 7. Construct new horse arena as an addition to the existing facility. 8. Construct new horse stable/barn. 9. Upgrade existing site drainage. |

Services Provided/Benefit to State: |

|
Statewide and regional training institutes for youth and adults in such areas as horsemanship, beef, goat, and swine, FFA and 4-H activities. Facility also serves as a livestock and human emergency shelter during hurricane season and other adverse conditions. |
