Currently successful DJJ/OJJDP Q7057 Job Readiness Grant, written to serve 50 participants, consistently serving over 130.
Services Provided/Benefit to State:
Reduction of recidivism (total first year.7%(99.3%) not referred to DJJ, lower suspensions and truancy. Increased academic performance, pro active citizenship and job readiness. See evaluations attached.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Reduced recidivism, truancy, school referrals and an increase in academics, citizenship and parent involvement.
